AIMExpo and Garage Party

When AIMExpo called me a few months ago and asked if I would be the ambassador I jumped at the opportunity! Not only is it held in basically my backyard (Orlando, FL) but also it’s North America’s biggest Motorcycle Industry Show and is the only show that allows the public to see and ride next year’s bikes, riding gear and accessories before anyone else in the country.

This will be my second year attending the show, the third anniversary forAIME and the first year they will be holding a 2 day Garage After Party. In such a short time they have become one of the fastest growing trade shows in the world with more than 550 exhibitors and at least 17 motorcycle companies including Harley DavidsonHondaBMWYamaha, etc. I’m excited for it all but the Garage Party is what I’m looking forward to the most since it’s a celebration of custom bikes and bike culture with music, a bike build-off and a showcase of famous bikes and even more famous builders from the 70’s to today. At the Championship of the Americas the winner will go on to represent North America in the AMD World Championship in Germany. Some of the builders include Dave Perewitz,Charlie Hadayia SrJesse JamesFreddie ArnoldKyle ShoreyPaul Ponkowand Pat Patterson. Saturday’s Garage Party starts with a rockabilly concert by Jason D Williams sponsored by Ace Café and then we all head down the road to Miller’s Ale House for more music and a little bit of drinking until whenever we shut it down.

On a side note I have a lot of friends coming in for the show such as@caferacersofinstagram @croig @caferacerxxx @stevewest from Silver Piston @loadedguncustoms and Photographer @matthewjonesphoto. On top of that my husband and I will be launching our new co-op motorcycle garage called Standard Motorcycle Co. We will have a booth in the Garage area of the show and will be on stage speaking a few times about garage building culture and women in motorcycling. Plus I will be with the Iron Lilies making appearances at Orlando Harley where artist Dena Davis has her art show she drew of all us Iron Lilies riders at the party too!

The show is really 2 shows in one with the first 2 days open to Trade (Industry peeps) and the last 2 days the public can come in and everyone is invited to the Garage Party Friday and Saturday night. There’s so much going on that I included a schedule below for those who wanted more detailed information. You can also go to www.aimexpousa.com for more information or to purchase discounted tickets.
